Master Your Money With Real Skills

Most people never learn how money actually works. Our program changes that by teaching practical budgeting methods you'll use for decades, not just trendy tips that fade away.

What You'll Actually Learn

We focus on building habits that stick. No fluff about becoming rich overnight—just solid techniques for managing what you earn.

Budget Foundations

Start with tracking where your money goes each month. Sounds simple, but most people skip this step and wonder why they're always short on cash. We'll show you three different tracking methods and you pick what fits your life.

Expense Categories That Work

Forget complicated spreadsheets with 47 categories. You need maybe eight categories that make sense for how you actually spend. We'll help you figure out which ones matter for your situation.

Building Your Safety Net

Emergency funds aren't sexy, but they're what keep you from panic when the boiler breaks. Learn how to set realistic savings goals that don't require living on beans and toast for six months.

Adjusting When Life Happens

Your budget will need tweaking every few months. That's normal. We teach you how to adapt without throwing the whole system out when unexpected costs pop up.

Program Structure

Eight weeks of practical work, with sessions happening fortnightly starting autumn 2025. You'll have time between sessions to test what you learn.

Weeks 1–2

Get your baseline numbers sorted. Track everything for two weeks without changing your habits yet. This shows where you really stand.

Weeks 3–4

Create your first proper budget based on what you tracked. Set limits that feel challenging but doable, then see how you do for a fortnight.

Weeks 5–6

Adjust what didn't work in your first attempt. Most people need to tweak their food budget or transport costs after seeing reality versus expectations.

Weeks 7–8

Plan for bigger expenses and irregular costs. Work on your savings strategy that you can maintain after the program ends.
